The New Cell Phone Features
It’s always cool when you get a new cell phone as part of your contract renewal. It’s a really good idea to include that in your contract because the technology changes so much over the length of your contract that your old phone is certainly outdated.
New Cell Phone Features
Remember when a cell phone allowed you to make phone calls no matter where you were? Remember when we thought that was cool? Things have definitely changed. A new cell phone does everything but walk the dog and feed the cat…and it will remind you to do that.
The new cell phones are smaller, thinner and sleeker looking than ever. The coolest, thinnest little flip phone is the RAZR.
With a new cell phone, you get a better display than you used to, and it’s in color. The display isn’t pixilated, either; it looks good.
Some of the not-so-new features that you can opt for on your new cell phone are text messaging, speakerphone capability and voice activated dialing.
A new cell phone has multimedia capabilities. It functions as a digital camera or a digital videocam. It is also an MP3 player and a radio. It will receive television shows. You can play movies off of the internet on it. It is a complete entertainment system in your back pocket.
Your new cell phone probably has wireless capabilities, too. It may be IrDA (infrared) or Blue Tooth capable, but it will allow you to access the internet anywhere. Sometimes a new cell phone even has a full keyboard and is WiFi capable. So, if nobody calls you while you are at Starbucks, you can use your new cell phone to browse the internet.
Cell Phone Accessories
And then there are accessories for your new phone. Cell phone covers and faceplates make the look of your phone completely customizable and let you have just about any look or design you like. You can get a radiation blocker, so you don’t get brain damage from the phone. Signal boosters give you better reception. You can download individual ring tones so that your sound is only your sound, and so that you know without looking who is calling you.
Headphones have gone from earmuffs to sleek and slim behind-the-ear pieces. Chargers haven’t changed much, and you still need one, but everything else certainly has changed since the last time you bought a new cell phone.
