The One Cup Coffee Maker Is Perfect for Singles

My friend is such a single person. She likes to just occasionally drink a cup of coffee. She had never owned a coffee maker before as it wouldn’t have made sense for her to brew a huge pot. So, of course the one cup coffee maker is ideal in her situation.

Or take a college student, for instance, who often spends late nights studying for exams, who will need some sort of pick-me-up at some time of the night. For this student, the one cup coffee maker can be perfect, as it provides just what the student needs. Most students won’t bother making a whole pot of coffee, either because they don’t have time to wait for it to brew or else because half of it would go to waste anyway which, for a student’s budget, is certainly worth considering.

One big advantage of the one cup coffee maker is that most coffee brands supply individual filter packs for just one cup. There is no inconvenient (and often messy) measuring up of coffee grounds, instead you simply put the filter pack in the filter basket, pour water in the reservoir and turn on the machine. Within a few seconds you will have a wonderful hot cup of coffee.

The one cup coffee maker is also very useful in the hotel and catering industry, particularly in those hotels that cater to business travelers. Most business travelers travel on their own. They stay in their hotel rooms on their own and just want one cup of coffee in the morning to get ready for work instead of a big breakfast. The one cup coffee maker therefore is perfect for them as well. Most hotels will provide everything needed to brew and flavor coffee, such as sugar and milk, etc. so the business traveler can drink his coffee just the way he is used to it.

These are just a few examples to show how a one cup coffee maker is just the right size to satisfy someone’s coffee craving. Every time I see one of those nice one cup coffee makers I am reminded that it serves a purpose for all sorts of different people out there. Needless to say that I bought one myself. I can always brew a second cup, can’t I?
